There are so many questions to talk about what is happening in Iran. I am a supporter of the Iranian revolution from the beginning. Imam Khomeini was expelled from Iraq on demand of the Americans when I was in Baghdad. Then he came to Baghdad and went to France. French manipulated him because there were agents around Khomeini. He was not a fool. He was very intelligent man. At the end people resurrected him in Iran, and Shah of Iran that was a dirty fellow was escaped. I have a great respect for Khomeini who was a great man. He defeated the criminal Shah of Iran.

There is a complex situation that I don’t like, in Iran. I have converted to Islam since the first days of October around my birthday in 1976. So, I am Muslim for 46 years. But firstly, it hasn’t been in intellectual manner. I had begun to interest with Islam, but actually I became a Muslim because my comrades told me to become a Muslim. We were going an operation in Kenya and there was a chance after attacking we would be killed by the British. Anyway, I went to OPEC operation, and I hadn’t still arrested. After the OPEC operation I began to interest with Islam and began to read about. I have read Quran, there is expressions about covering of women and also in the hadiths of prophet. But there is no mention completely about its model, it has taken form with the tradition.

When Shiite Iranian Islamic Revolution took power, I couldn’t understand some rules of Shiite Sheria and also I can’t understand now. They have to be openminded. Iran is the ally of anti-imperialist and anti-zionist powers. It is an ally of Russia and the Arabs who are fighting against Israel. Iran helps a lot to Hezbollah which is main assistant to operation of Palestine from outside.

We should respect all beliefs so we should be careful about making law. My ex German wife didn’t want to go to Iran because of the laws. Most of these young people who are protesting the regime, are Shiite. And there are also Sunnis and Christians in Iran. Revolutionaries in the power should adapt to the social reality in Iran and stop some reactionary traditions that are not useless. The regime is strong so there is no need to force every woman to cover their heads. I think, the death of young women is a mistake.

We have a situation of conflict. And Western countries are manipulating this problem. To my conviction, if women don’t want to cover own head, they have right. In Islam, there is no law that about all women covering head even if she isn’t a Muslim. Governors of Iran disabled women to not cover heads few years ago. They were solidary with Isabelle Coutant Peyre. She went to Iran to meet with president and covered her head. They are respected Isabelle and me as well. She was with Iran, and they invited her. Otherwise, she doesn’t do it.

Unfortunately, Kurdish people were divided from Turks, Arabs, and Iranians. They don’t have a state. There is just a regional Kurdish state in the north part of Iraq. And protests are rising in the Kurdish region of Iran. Western criminal imperialists are exploiting this struggle against the extremist in the government of Iran. They want to keep up the problem about covering of heads. Extremist thought create a civil war in Iran. The issue around covering head of woman is a detail, after all people are unhappy because of the regime. An arrested women was killed. This is an unacceptable terrible crime. Some crazy fanatics support the religious police, but it is a wrong implementation. Islam gives rights to people about freedom. Islam is respected and respectful religion. Iran should stop forcing all people living like a Muslim.
